Waldron Marine
Dear Jon,
I want to thank you and your whole organization for the wonderful job selling my boats. I can't tell you how glad I am in choosing to go this route with your company. You have a great staff and we all had a few laughs too. I tell people often what a great experience it has been and that they would be nuts not to go to ECYS to buy or sell their next boat.
Please give these little thank you notes to all your coworkers. I really appreciate all the professional, friendly and efficient help over the last year. It is almost bittersweet that all of the boats are sold, but there will no doubt be more boat stories to have in the future.
Best wishes to all, and I hope business is good!"

The Liberty Fleet of Tall Ships
Linda Warren sold my Tall Ship sailing business. Most brokers can sell boats; few can sell a boat business. Linda is extremely knowledgeable about the market and the people who are in the market. She continually brought me qualified buyers, persevered through difficult economic times and was, and is, always gracious and thoughtful. She initially sold the 80’ Schooner Liberty as a boat sale and, one year later, sold the Liberty Fleet of Tall Ships, the owner of the 125’ Schooner Liberty Clipper. And, along the way, she sold my personal 38’ sloop.
I have great respect for Linda and her skills and recommend her without qualification."Greg Muzzy, former owner of The Liberty Fleet of Tall Ships
Dear Tom,
What disappointing news from the surveyor. I feel badly for you and me but, frankly, I feel quite badly for the owner. Please return my check for $9900. and advise the owner that the boat is unacceptable per the contract or, if he has not signed the contract, that the offer is withdrawn. You have been a pleasure to deal with throughout this transaction and have always been accommodating with your time and expertise. You give brokers a good name. Thank-you for your help."
Sincerely, Peter
Thought I'd give a quick update - cruise up coast going very well. CAT's have been purring and all systems working great. Left Ft. Pierce on Saturday... Leaving St.Augustine, Fl this morning with "final" destination Charleston, SC this weekend. Next leg will be determined by inceasing temps up the coast. Richard has kept in regular contact, real nice guy. Thanks for helping put this deal together - couldn't be happier. Photo of JAYEMSEA on mooring in St. Augustine... My best, LRC

Dear Bill,
I wanted to tell you once more what a pleasure it has been working with you over the course of purchasing and, more recently, selling our Bristol 38.8 “Maggie B”. From the outset, you were exceptionally experienced, helpful and good natured.
When we first worked with you, you listened carefully and were unfailingly patient and thorough in addressing our needs. Your knowledge of cruising sailboats is superb; in the end, you found and guided us smoothly through the purchase of just the right boat. She gave us close to a decade of sailing pleasure. When the time came to sell her, once again we found your recommendations and knowledge of the market to be invaluable. When we encountered an unexpected problem during the sale, your integrity, your thoughtful counsel, and your advice as to how to restructure the transaction, ensured a successful closing.
Once in a while I am fortunate enough to work with a real professional, Bill, and I count you among them. I thank you for your help over the years and I look forward to working with you again.
My best regards,
Michael
