Vessel Walk Thru-This stunning Alden 50 provides accommodations for six in a three stateroom in varnished cherry interior with varnished solid teak and holly soles. There is an abundance of natural lightand ventilation with the salon surrounded by windows, ten opening ports with screens, three doors (two with screens) and two hatches and two dorades. Extensive 12 volt recessed lighting throughout with reading lamps at berths and settees. When needed, there is 48,000 BTUs of reverse cycle air conditioning (heats and cools) that will keep the interior comfortable though a wide range of external temps.

Starting forward are two Guest Staterooms, the forward most featuring a V-berth with insert with top access storage under, under deck lockers above and bureau and lockers aft and to port. Aft of the starboard V is a locker for the stacked washer and dryer units. Next aft to port is a second guest stateroom with over and under berths with small bureaus fore and aft and with lockers under the upper berth. To starboard is the Guest Head featuring a large fore and aft vanity outboard with storage and porcelain sink, Vacuflush W.C. plumbed via a Y-valve to the holding tank and separate stall shower compartment with seat. Up three steps (with storage under) to the Salon with large U-shaped settee with a double leaf pedestal table that will easily handle dining for six, custom glass and beverage locker aft and entertainment console to port. Easy egress to the decks from and aft door with steps or through the side door located adjacent to the lower helm. The Lower Helm is forward and to starboard with full vessel controls, electrical panels, navionics and a true double bench seat for the helmsman and companion. 

The Galley is forward and to port and is a U-shaped affair with Corian counter tops, Gaggeneau 4 burner electric range with convection microwave under, large single basin stainless sink, and fron load 110 and 12V Grunert refrigeration box. A separate freezer compartment is built into the helm bench seat to starboard.

Down two steps to the Master Stateroom featuring an island queen berth with night stands/small bureaus each side, extensive clothing storage to starboard while to port is a chair and desk. Forward and to port is the Master Head featuring Vacuflush W.C., vanity with porcelain sink and separate stall shower compartment. There is private access to the stateroom from an aft companionway to port.

Easy access to the outdoors via the aft and side doors to the wide side decks with bulwarks with teak cap rail and stainless safety rails and lifelines. Access to the flying bridge is comfortably handled via steps from the aft house top. The Flying bridge is equipped with an large L-settee with storage under, two teak ladder back Pompanette chairs and center-line drop leaf table along with a full set of vessel controls. Machinery Twin fresh water cooled Caterpillar 3208TA diesel engines turn 5 bladed propellers on 2" shafts though Twin Disc 1.7:1 reduction gears. The hour meters indicated 3006 (P) and 2994 (S) hours as of date of listing. Both engines have been given extensive maintenance and overhauls though not to a "zero hour level" (please check the bullet points below). The yacht is laid out with a true engine room with 5'-6" headroom, plenty of room to access machinery from the outboard side as well as great accessibility to all other systems along with a work bench!. The entire engine room was Awlgripped white along with the engines in 2012 and has been kept to a high standard since.

Hull & Deck Fiberglass hull with Awlgrip finish done in 2012, Flag Blue with White boot stripe. The deepvee hull is cored with closed cell foam above the chine and solid fiberglass below the chine. The yacht was designed with prop pockets to provide a flatter running angle for the drive train hence improved efficiency. Awlgrip finished cored house and decks with "Moondust" Awlgrip with non-skid on the side decks and teak overlay in the cockpit. The bottom was stripped in 2012 and is finished with a semi-ablative red antifouling with little or no build up. Wide side decks with low bulwarks or wash rails with teak cap rail. Large lazarette for storage, stainless deck hardware. Most exterior varnish was stripped and re-finished in 2012 and has been maintained to a high standard since.
