From the pilothouse, walk three steps below, and to starboard are two berths bunk-bed style, head to port, and private master cabin forward. This area is climate controlled by a 16000 BTU air conditioner, has 6’ 4” headroom, and is finished herreshoff style. The guest area has large berths, storage underneath the bottom berth, a hanging locker inboard, and a storage cabinet. Above the guest berths is more rod storage. The head is spacious with an odor-free fresh water vacuflush toilet, a huge separate shower stall, and plenty of storage. Walking forward, through the privacy door, is the MASTER CABIN. There is a double berth (52” wide X 96” long) with drawerstorage underneath, rod storage above, and a storage cabinet to port. Two opening window ports and an overhead hatch provides fresh air into the cabin.

Special attention was taken during the build to ensure a quiet ride while underway. In addition to the underwater exhaust, the pilothouse has three levels of sound protection. First is the Sounddown® material built into the floor, second is Sounddown® matting on the cabin sole, and finally the carpet further keeps the boat quiet while underway. There is also a custom canvas matt that snaps into the corners of the floor when fishing to protect the carpet.

The Helmsmen seat is large enough for two and very comfortable for the long trips. There is excellent visibility while seated. The windshield just forward of the helm and each of the forward side windows can open for fresh air.

Aft of the helm and to starboard is a strait settee with storage underneath. Just forward of the starboard settee is the entertainment center with a flat screen tv, dvd player, Stereo, and remote for the air conditioner controls. To port is an L-shaped settee with storage underneath and a removable table inboard. Both settee’s can be used for berths.

Walking up the ladder, a helmsmen and companion seat is immediately to starboard, behind a console with electronics and storage throughout. Forward and to port of the helm chair are long bench seats. This arrangement creates a very social layout where the captain can naturally engage in the conversation while still facing forward to keep a lookout.
