2006 Melges 32

The Melges 32 is produced by Melges Performance Sailboats and went into production in 2005. She's rigged with a retractable bowsprit to fly a large asymmetrical spinnaker downwind. Her hull is make of fiberglass while the mast, rubber, bowsprit and keel fin are made of carbon fiber for light weight performance. The keel fin and bulb can retract up to the hull bottom to make her easily trailerable. 

She's generally races with five or more crew and preforms best at her max One Design crew weight of 629kg total. The Melges 32 is an internationally recognized ISAF (international sailing federation) class with seriously competitive fleets in Europe, North America and Australia.
