Over 40 years ago, Botnia Marin was founded by husband-and-wife team, Johan and Britt-Marie Carpelan. They started production with a range of sailboats and powerboats. In 1984, they purchased the design for the Targa 25 and began production on the line, which they have since expanded and evolved to a comprehensive, 10-model range that is available today.

These boats are an exciting addition to the New England yachting scene, filling a void in the market for the adventurous mariner. They accommodate an active lifestyle, with cruising speeds in the 30-knot range and top speeds of 38 knots. In addition to speed, safety is paramount for the brand, both in safe handling as well as features such as full walk-around side decks, high gunwales, side door at the helm, and rugged construction.

What Targa has mastered in capability, the yachts match in comfort, too! Even the smallest model in the line features comfortable sleeping accommodations, as well as a galley and head. The luxe feel of the Targa’s interior has the superb comfort and style of a classic yacht. The 10 different models have a size range from the Targa 23.1 to the Targa 46. Depending on the model they can be powered either Volvo inboard diesel engines or outboards.
