The passion to work in the marine industry began when RJ was young, with his first job as an assistant sailing instructor over two decades ago. From there, sailing has routed the course—from attending Massachusetts Maritime Academy, competing in offshore distance races, studying at The Landing School, and working in many different aspects of the industry. From the Atlantic to the Pacific, to the Great Lakes and down to the Caribbean, RJ’s waters of knowledge run deep.
RJ lives in Bowdoinham with his wife Cara and their young daughter Luna. When he’s not working on someone else’s boat, you can find him sailing with his family on their Tartan 30, or having fun in their glassblowing studio.
