A well-kept, high quality boat is a rare thing! This lightly used, lift kept, never bottom painted Mark Ellis - designed Limestone 24 Express Cruiser is a gem of a proper pocket cruiser. Robustly built by Hinterhoeller Yachts in Ontario, Canada, the venerable builder of Nonsuch and Niagara sailboats, among others, this fine example was a fresh water boat from new to the summer of 2021, and was garage kept during that entire time. Now rack stored at the Jersey shore, she has fewer than 24 hours in salt water. This Limestone is powered by a reliable Mercruiser 5.7L V8, with under 600 hours, a newer outdrive, new carburetor, and new shift control and cables. With her new canvas, warm teak interior, simple galley with fridge, private, enclosed stand up head with a porcelain commode, and 6'6" vee berth sleeping for two, this pocket cruiser is pretty, capable and ready to go cruising! As the newest member of the East Coast Yacht Sales team, Kevin comes to the firm having had a successful, nearly three-decade career in yacht brokerage at another upper bracket broker/dealer in New Jersey. Among Kevin's professional distinctions is having served on the Yacht Broker's Association of America Board of Directors, a peer-elected position. Kevin is a Florida-licensed broker and is the only Certified Professional Yacht Broker working in New Jersey.
Kevin grew up in Maryland, sailing out of Annapolis, and has lived aboard, sailed all over the world, delivered boats to and from the Caribbean, and more. His industry contacts are vast. Kevin has sold boats from as far away as Australia and the Med. The 'just right' sailboat, dayboat or motoryacht is out there for most boaters. Kevin will find it for you, or find the right buyer for your boat!
A sailor by nature and practice, Kevin's best skill set may be on display in the galley. Kevin and his wife have travelled extensively, volunteered abroad and here at home, and have studied and sampled multiple cuisines, learning that the best way to appreciate a culture other than one's own is in the galley or kitchen, or around the dining room or cockpit table. When not boating or actively selling boats, Kevin and his wife Joan are either looking after their bees, or growing organic berries and fruits and veggies at their home in Little Silver, New Jersey.
