Additional Information
From Practical Sailor's Review: "This Bruce Farr-designed speedster performs well in round-the-buoy races, yet its three-cabin interior also makes it a comfortable, seasonal cruiser. The Beneteau First 40.7 put the racer in the racer/cruiser of the early 2000s, earning her chops as a club racer or casual over-nighter. Her sumptuous belowdeck amenities work well with her racing spirit on deck. The boat’s numbers certainly suggest it has better-than-average performance compared to its peers in the cruising world. Polar diagrams indicate the potential for speeds of 6-plus knots sailing in 20 knots of breeze within 32 degrees of true wind. Predicted boat speed exceeds 12 knots when sailing in big breeze off wind.
