Accomodations
"Second Wind" will sleep 7. Forward is a full width v-berth with a custom mattress top, drawer storage below, and two lockers. There are opening ports and a big overhead hatch with a clever after market screen and shade. The stateroom also has a vanity with a sink and bench seat.
Aft is the main salon. To port is an L-shaped settee flanking a large bulkhead mounted teak table with a hinged leaf capable of serving people on the starboard settee. There is a bookcase on the bulkhead behind the table. The L-settee converts to a big double berth. To starboard is a straight settee, which will also sleep one. There are lee cloth hooks for starboard and port berths. The built-in TV is in the aft starboard corner of the salon outboard of the settee.
Aft of the port settee is the fully equipped nav station with a Balmar Smartgauge, Kenwood stereo, battery selector switch, Xantrex inverter/charger display, and breaker panel.
Aft of the nav station and to starboard of the companionway is the generous head with a shower area and bench seat. A wet locker is outboard of the bench seat. There is a track for a shower curtain. The head is a fresh water Jabsco. There is a sink and storage outboard and under the vanity.
Opposite to port, and aft of the L-settee is the fully equipped and fabulous galley with its Corian counter tops. See more under the Galley heading.
Aft of the galley and to port of the companionway is the ample guest stateroom with a bench seat, hanging locker, opening ports and hatches, and enormous berth.
Engine access in the aft stateroom is easy. A teak cover is effortlessly lifted to expose most of the engine, and there is a bulkhead light to help illuminate the area.

Rob grew up on the coast of Maine where he began sailing at the age of 8 through a local yacht club program. He learned many important lessons about teamwork in those early days of sailing turnabouts and 420âs. Later he would become an instructor with that same program teaching kids and adults the joys of day sailing and racing. After graduating from college in 2002 he then moved to Annapolis Maryland and began his career as a yacht broker specializing in the sale of blue water trawlers and sailboats.
Upon his return to Maine in 2013 he opened a satellite office for a brokerage based in Newport at Handy Boat Service in Falmouth. Here he oversaw the sale of both new and used boats with an emphasis on cruising sailboats. In 2017 Rob joined the team at East Coast Yacht Sales in their Yarmouth office where he continues to develop and hone his abilities to coordinate custom boat builds and facilitate smooth transactions for both buyers and sellers on the brokerage market.Â
